Radway is a small village at the foot of Edge Hill and is the site of the battle of Edgehill. It lies 3 miles from Kineton and 5 miles from Fenny Compton. In 1872 the figure of a horse, in memory of the battle of Towton, was cut into the hillside. The church was rebuilt in 1866  in the decorated English style.

Ratcliffe Culey is a small village on the Warwickshire/Leicestershire border, 2 miles from Atherstone. The name derives from the Old English for red cliff and the De Cuiley family who owned the manor from the 12th to the 14th century. The church dates from c.1377 and remains largely unchanged.
