the foot of Edge Hill and is the site of the battle of Edgehill. It
lies 3 miles from Kineton and 5 miles from Fenny Compton. In 1872 the
figure of a horse, in memory of the
battle of Towton, was cut into the hillside. The
church was rebuilt in 1866 in the decorated English style.
