The M Festival

The M Festival is the largest computer and video games show ever to be held in the UK and is the complete festival of gaming and technology. It takes place at Stoneleigh Park from 8th - 11th August 2008.

M Festival has something for everyone, whether you are a family looking for a fun day out or if you have an interest in video games and the latest in gaming technology – there’s so much going on that you’ll not know where to begin!

Kids will love the Fun Zone with a fun bus, crafts, activities, games and sports running throughout the day – not forgetting to mention the giant slide! Other activities at M Festival include archery, laser clay pigeon shooting, bucking bronco rodeo, laser tag, giant human table football – the list goes on! All of these activities are free to all M Festival visitors.

For those who want a little more adventure there’s our quad bike safari – a whistle stop tour of Stoneleigh Parks extensive countryside on your own quad bike! Even the kids can have a go with our junior quad bike safari, tailor made for smaller adventurers! If you prefer to be in the passenger seat then why not try the off-road 4x4 experience? You’ll blast round a course being driven by a professional driver at breathtaking speeds – a sure fire adrenaline rush!

If you’re interested in video games and games technology then there is no better place to be than at M Festival. The UK’s leading electronic games show, M Festival houses the top names in the industry as they showcase the latest games. Sneak a peek at some unreleased games, such as Fifa ’09 and Fry Cry 2, which can be seen by the public for the very first time and only at M Festival.

The M Festival is also staging the UK qualifiers and finals of the world’s largest computer game tournament – the World Cyber Games 2008. With over one million players taking part worldwide anyone can join in and win the chance to represent the UK at the Grand Final this November in Germany. If you don’t fancy playing then just watching the best players in the UK is a fascinating insight into the world of professional “e-sports”. A 400-seater arena becomes the spotlight as gamers play their crucial matches in front of an expectant crowd.

M Festival also features a 2,000 player “Bring Your Own Computer” games party. The largest games event ever put together on UK soil and will host a mammoth 80+ hour games marathon from Friday running throughout the weekend.

All ages will enjoy an action packed day out at M Festival, ticket and travel information can be found on the M Festival website – www.mfestival.com

Parking is free and special discounts are available for families, children and senior citizens.
